The Bakersfield College Alumni BBQ, presented by Harris BBQ, is a fun-filled event held before BC’s Homecoming football game, reconnecting generations of alumni and members of our community while fostering connections and celebrating shared BC spirit. Enjoy mouthwatering tri-tip, chicken, or all-beef hot dogs from Harris BBQ, great music, family-friendly activities, lots of great vendors, and a beer garden for guests 21 and over. Enjoy free general admission to the Homecoming game – help fill Memorial Stadium with our community’s support for BC Football! Proceeds of the event benefit the Bakersfield College Alumni Association’s scholarships and ongoing efforts to provide resources and promote the success of our past, current, and future students.

Your ticket includes your choice of meal (hot dog, chicken, or tri-tip), two sides, and a drink. All attendees can also enjoy general admission to the BC Homecoming football game that begins at 4 PM.

Yes! This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome. Kids are encouraged to join the fun—there will be games and activities for everyone.
The event starts at 11 AM, but meals will be served between 12 PM and 3 PM.
Yes! Enjoy great music, including live performances from BC’s talented student groups such as our Drumline, BC Jazz, Folklorico, and Mariachi.
